Lockport police said just after 2 a.m., five suspects in all black clothing, wearing gloves and masks, got out of a black SUV and broke the front window of Villa Nova Pizza, located at 946 N. State St.
The suspects were in the building for less than three minutes before driving away, police said.
Police found damaged cash registers and damaged video gaming machines at the business.
John Ramos, co-owner of Villa Nova Pizza, said business owners are frustrated by the crimes.
"They want to take the easy route - quick, fast, easy money when all of us are out here working just trying to make ends meet," Ramos said.
The burglary occurred as the restaurant undergoes parking lot construction, adding to the costs facing the business.
Dominique Surillo, co-owner of Villa Nova Pizza, said it was the second burglary at the business in just over a year.
"It was really hard to watch this not only the first time, but the second time; it was a lot more damage done. It's just terrible," Surillo said.
Will County sheriff's deputies and Frankfort police responded to The Chill House, located at 7905 W. Lincoln Highway, just before 6 a.m. for a burglary in progress.
They found the glass of the front door smashed, but no one inside.

Two gaming machines were forced open and the cash boxes were removed, police said.
Frankfort police later found both empty cash boxes near the intersection of Lincoln Highway and Harlem Avenue.
Surveillance video showed two suspects, wearing all black using sledgehammers to break into the business; they were inside for less than three minutes, police said.
Jill Cassan, bar manager at The Chill House, said the suspects moved quickly.
"They entered around 5:54 a.m. By 5:58, they already broken two machines, left with the cartridges. My morning shift arrived at 6:01. Police were here by 6:02," Cassan said.
The break-in comes as The Chill House continues to recover from other recent setbacks.
"We had a fire in the back that burnt our stage down. And then, last week's storms - the wind, tornado damage took out our stage a second time. And now, here we are a week later," Cassan said.
Monee police said three male suspects in all black with hoodies and masks broke into Lacey's gaming cafe in the 5600-block of Monee Manhattan Road about 6:10 a.m. and removed two cash boxes.
Monee police saw the suspects and chased a late model Audi sedan north on Interstate 57.
They ended the chase near Interstate 80.
Investigators are also examining whether the overnight burglaries may be connected to reports from additional communities, including Channahon, Crest Hill and Orland Hills.
Separately, authorities said two gaming-related businesses in Homer Glen were burglarized Tuesday morning. Deputies responded to Sam's Bar & Gaming at about 5:15 a.m. and found forced entry damage but reported that nothing had been taken. About 20 minutes later, deputies responded to Nick's BBQ Restaurant, where several slot machines were damaged and cash boxes were removed.
As of Thursday, no arrests had been announced in any of the cases. Police said the investigations remain ongoing as authorities work to determine whether the incidents are connected.
