CHICAGO (WLS) -- A car exploded on northbound I-57 near 107th Street overnight.
Illinois State Police said a driver lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a median. The car burst into flames.

Luckily, the driver managed to escape before the explosion and was not hurt.
Investigators are looking into the cause of the crash.
