Chef from Daisy's Po-Boy and Tavern in Chicago talks New Orleans-style food on Cooking up a Storm

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A renowned Chicago chef says summer is sizzling right now at Daisy's Po-Boy and Tavern in Hyde Park.

Chef Erick Williams joined ABC7 Chicago Wednesday to Cook up a Storm, with a sandwich.



He talked about what's in a po'boy and how he got into New Orleans-style cuisine.

Williams also talked about what's next for him as a chef.



Daisy's opened in 2022, and has Tuesday trivia and live music on Fridays.

It's named after Williams' late aunt, Daisy.

Daisy's also has a sister restaurant, Virtue, and sister bar, Cantina Rosa.
