Chopper 7 over crash involving 2 semis on I-55 in south suburbs

DARIEN, Ill. (WLS) -- Chopper 7 was over the scene Tuesday morning of a crash involving two semis on I-55.



The crash happened at about 6:22 a.m. on the northbound lanes of I-55 at Cass Avenue near Route 83, Illinois State Police said.

ISP said one semi was carrying steel coils, which ended on the road after the crash.



ISP said no injuries were reported.



Two lanes of I-55 were closed for traffic. The ramp for Cass Avenue to I-55 was also shut down.
