CHICAGO (WLS) -- A Chicago group is challenging the Trump administration over greenhouse gas emissions.
The administration recently revoked the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's authority to regulate those emissions.
The Chicago-based Environmental Law and Policy Center filed a lawsuit Wednesday.
The group says climate change caused extreme heat and intense storms in the Midwest, and believes the EPA not regulating greenhouse gas emissions will make the problems worse.
