CHICAGO (WLS) -- New legislation could give fans a chance to prevent teams, like the Chicago Bears, from moving.
Sen. Bernie Sanders and other lawmakers have introduced the Home Team Act.
If passed, the act would require team owners to give local communities a chance to buy the team before relocating.
Sanders specifically mentioned the Bears' threat to leave Chicago.
