3 stabbed in East Garfield Park, Chicago police say suspect in custody

CHICAGO (WLS) -- In overnight Chicago crime, three men were stabbed on the city's West Side on Sunday, police said.



The stabbing happened at about 3:01 a.m. in East Garfield Park in the 2900-block of W. Wilcox Street, police said.

CPD said three men were arguing with the suspect when they pulled out a sharp object.

A 19-year-old man had multiple lacerations to the body, he was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.



A 43-year-old man also had multiple lacerations to the body, he was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.

A 29-year-old man had a laceration to the chest; he is expected to be OK.

The suspect was taken into custody, police said charges are pending.
