Man found guilty of killing 21-year-old Diamond Turner, dumping body in Chicago alley in 2017

Cook County prosecutors also linked Arthur Hilliard to the stabbing murder of another person in 2019.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man charged in the Chicago murder of 21-year-old Diamond Turner was found guilty on Friday.



Police say Turner was found dead in an alley in March 2017.

Nearly three years after the murder, CPD officials said DNA evidence led to Arthur Hilliard's arrest.

Cook County prosecutors also linked him to the stabbing murder of another person in 2019.

A jury found Hilliard guilty of all three counts he was charged with, including murder and concealing a homicide, in connection with Turner's killing on Friday.



Hilliard will be back in court later this month for post-trial motions.
