Man wanted for at least 7 armed robberies across Northwest Side: VIDEO

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are asking for help identifying a man wanted in a string of armed robberies across the Northwest Side.

The most recent robbery happened Sunday in the 3300-block of West Fullerton Avenue.



Detectives say the same suspect may be connected to seven robberies since late July, including incidents in Avondale, Portage Park, Albany Park, and Logan Square:

• 3400-block of W. Belmont Ave. on July 31 and Aug 6.


• 3200-block of N. Milwaukee Ave. on Aug. 11 and Aug. 22.


• 4700-block of W. Belmont Ave. on Aug 15.


• 4000-block of W. Irving Park Rd. on Aug 19.


• 3300-block of W. Fullerton Ave. on Aug. 23.

Surveillance video captured one of the robberies. Police also released a photo of the suspect, who they described as a heavy-set man who was wearing dark clothing.
