Crash-and-grab thieves target Bucktown gas station, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police said thieves crashed a Jeep into a Bucktown gas station while targeting the business ATM on Tuesday.



It happened at about 3:09 a.m. in the 1700 block of W. Armitage Avenue, police said.

CPD said two people crashed into the business and tried to take an ATM.



However, police said the suspects were unsuccessful in taking the ATM.

Nobody is in custody.
