Chicago police release video of suspects in deadly Little Village shooting

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police have released a video showing the people suspected in a deadly shooting in Little Village.

Police believe the three people inside a car were involved in the shooting near a pair of fruit stands Wednesday afternoon at 26th Street and St. Louis Avenue that killed one person and injured three others.



The new video released Thursday shows a white car pull up to a gas station in the 3400 block of West 26th Street.

One person went inside the store before going back to the car.



The suspects were wearing masks, CPD said.



Police say a 46-year-old man was shot multiple times and later died at Mt. Sinai hospital. His identity has not yet been released.

Two women, ages 25 and 47, were also shot and hospitalized, and police say a third female victim was shot in the back made it to the hospital on her own, in critical condition.

Police have not said what led to the gunfire and have offered no motive for the shooting. No one was in custody.



No further information was available as Chicago police continue to investigate.
