Suspect wanted in attack on CTA Green Line train, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are looking for a suspect in an attack that happened on a CTA Green Line train on the city's Near West Side earlier this month.

The attack, which CPD is calling an aggravated battery, happened around 11:45 p.m. on July 10.



Investigators say the suspect approached a 48-year-old man riding the train near the Damen stop.

The suspect allegedly took a glass bottle from the victim, threw him to the floor and broke the bottle, cutting him.



CPD asked anyone with information to contact them.
