ATM stolen from Portage Park store in crash-and-grab burglary, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are investigating a crash-and-grab burglary on the city's Northwest Side Thursday.



The crime happened at about 4:53 a.m. in the 5600-Block of West Irving Park Road, according to police.



A dark-colored Jeep crashed into the front door of a 7-Eleven, police said.



Multiple suspects then took an ATM and fled in a different vehicle.

Chicago police said nobody was injured.
