CHICAGO (WLS) -- The 14th Annual Chicago Day of the Girl takes place Saturday.
The event brings together hundreds of young Black girls for a day of leadership, creativity, and empowerment.
Hosted by Girls Like Me Project, Inc., the event celebrates "Girlhood in Bloom" with workshops, performances and conversations designed to help girls embrace their voices and power.
