CHICAGO (WLS) -- Dance Force - a Chicago youth dance group that won first place during last year's Bud Billiken Parade dance competition - was honored Saturday by the Chicago Defender Charities.
The event honored the dance company's outstanding performances. ABC7 sports anchor Jim Rose was the emcee for event.

The group's 125 dancers represent 40 Chicago schools. The students range in age from 4 to 17 years old.
Dance Force beat out hundreds of other groups in the Bud Billiken competition.
