3 garages destroyed by fire on Northwest Side, Chicago fire officials say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Three garages were destroyed by fires Sunday on the city's Northwest Side, Chicago Fire Department officials said.

The fires broke out in the 3500 block of North Lowell Avenue, CFD said.



Firefighters responded to the scene, where they found three garages engulfed in flames.

No injuries were reported, CFD said.



Power lines were also damaged, and ComEd also responded to the scene, officials said.



The cause of the fires remain under investigation and no further information was immediately available.
