OAK FOREST, Ill. (WLS) -- Chicago Gaelic Park's annual Irish Fest kicks off Friday, offering three days of music, dancing and cultural celebrations.
The Aug. 22-24 festival will feature more than 20 bands across three stages, Irish dancers, bagpipers and workshops on language, Celtic art and traditions. A performing arts stage will showcase poetry, plays and folk music.
Guinness ambassador Eoghain Clavin previewed the event on ABC7 Chicago, demonstrating the famed "perfect pour" and highlighting the beer's ties to Irish culture.
Organizers say the family-friendly festival is open to all. Tickets and schedules are available at chicagogaelicpark.com/irish-fest
