Chicago gardeners get tips for fall lawn and garden prep

September is prime time for fall garden prep, and Wilmette horticulturist Jennifer Brennan shared her tips on ABC7 Eyewitness News.

Brennan says cooler days and warm soils make it the perfect month to repair lawns, plant cool-season flowers like pansies and asters, and refresh perennial beds. She also recommends ornamental grasses, spring-blooming bulbs, and repellents to protect gardens from pests and critters.
