Chicago police investigating string of business robberies in Logan Square

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are investigating a string of robberies Friday morning in Logan Square.

The first burglary occurred at about 4:10 a.m. in the 2500-block of West Fullerton Avenue. Police said two male suspects entered the business, took out guns and took a cash register and stole from a 26-year-old man.

The suspects then fled the scene in a black sedan.

The second burglary took place at about 4:19 a.m. in the 2200-block of North Washtenaw Avenue. Police said two male suspects entered the business, took out a gun and demanded money. They took money from the registers before fleeing, police said.

The third incident took place at about 4:30 a.m. in the 2200-block of North Milwaukee Avenue . Police said two male suspects entered a business, struck a 25-year-old victim in the head with a gun and fled in an unknown direction with money from a cash register. The suspects fled the scene in a black sedan.
Area Five detectives are investigating.
