Chicago police share warning about suspect wanted for sexual assaults at West Ridge Nature Park

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police say the same man is responsible for attacking two women this week at a North Side park.

Two women were hit and inappropriately touched at the West Ridge Nature Park, police said.



A 53-year-old woman was struck on her body by an unknown offender around 10:15 p.m. Monday, and a 33-year-old woman was smacked on her buttocks by an unknown offender around 9:40 a.m. Wednesday, CPD said.

Investigators say they are looking for one suspect. He's described as a man between the ages of 20 and 45 with long black hair and a black beard.



Anyone with information has been asked to call Chicago police.

Residents are encouraged to call 911 or 833-NAMI-CHI if they feel unsafe. Local Ald. Andre Vasquez also highlighted the Chicago Rape Crisis Hotline at 1-888-293-2080 and Resilience Chicago.

No arrests have been made as Chicago police continue to investigate.
