1 charged in September Princeton Park shooting of 42-year-old man, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man has been charged in the fatal shooting of a 42-year-old man in Princeton Park last September, Chicago police said Thursday.

The victim, Malcolm D. Cornell, was found around 10:49 a.m. on September 6 at a residence in the 300-block of West 93rd Street in Princeton Park, police said.



He had a gunshot wound to the body and was pronounced dead at the scene,

Police said Desmond Anderson, 35, was arrested Tuesday in the 10400-block of South Maryland Avenue.



Anderson has been charged with first degree murder and possession of a machine gun.
