CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man was killed in a shooting Monday morning in the Englewood neighborhood, Chicago police said.
The shooting took place at about 12:40 a.m. in the 7300-block of South Racine Avenue.
Police said a man was found on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds to his body and transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Area One detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
