2 hurt, 1 critically in Noble Square shooting, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two people were shot on Saturday night in West Town, Chicago police said.



The shooting happened at about 11:40 p.m. in the 1000-block of N. Noble Street, police said.

Police responded to a call of shots fired and found two injured men.

A 24-year-old man was found inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head. He was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition, police said.



A 50-year-old was shot in the right thigh and in the right calf, police said. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.

Chicago police did not mention a motive.

Nobody is in custody.
