The shooting happened at about 9:36 p.m.in the 7300-block of S. Indiana Avenue, police said.
Two men approached a 38-year-old man and started shooting, police said.
The man was shot multiple times. He was taken to the University of Chicago Hospital, where he died.
CPD said another victim, also a 38-year-old man, had three graze wounds to the right arm and was taken to St. Bernard Hospital. He is expected to be OK.
