Shots fired between 3 suspects, CCL holder near CTA station in Jefferson Park, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Shots were fired early Saturday morning near a CTA Blue Line station on the city's Northwest Side.

The incident happened around 5:15 a.m. in the 4800 block of North Milwaukee Avenue in Jefferson Park.



Chicago police said three people approached a 33-year-old man at the location.

There was an argument. As the man walked away, the three other people began shooting. The man returned fire, but no one was hit, CPD said.



Police said the man has a valid FOID card and concealed carry license.

CPD took one person into custody, and police are looking for two other suspects.

No further information was available.
