CHICAGO (WLS) -- A woman in her late 20s was found shot to death in a South Side home Monday, Chicago police said.
CPD said the woman was found at about 7:25 a.m. in the 6300-block of South Vernon Avenue.
The woman, 27, was found inside with a gunshot wound to the head.
Chicago police are conducting a homicide investigation.
