Chicago student brought on stage at WE Day

ROSEMONT, Ill. (WLS) -- A Chicago elementary school student who's making a big difference gets some stage time in Rosemont.

Kipp Elementary School student Guyshon Moore joined Cheryl and Hosea Sanders on stage at WE Day in Allstate Arena.

Moore and his classmates have spent the year picking up trash and creating a school-wide recycling program.

WE Day is a nationwide event which honors students for the good work they do every single day.
