Over the weekend, the shoes were put on display outside the Willis Tower as part of a 9/11 memorial.

On Wednesday afternoon, the students will pair up with Franciscan Outreach to hand out those shoes to people in need at a shelter in the 2700-block of West Harrison Street in Chicago's Lawndale neighborhood.
