The crash happened at about 4:21 p.m. on the inbound lanes near 87th Street near the Chatham neighborhood.
Four vehicles were involved in the crash, ISP said.
Chopper 7 was over the scene at about 4:45 p.m. Video shows several vehicles involved.

Illinois State Police said several people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The crash shut down at least three lanes of Interstate 94.
By 6 p.m., all lanes were reopened.
No other information was available.
