All lanes reopen after multi-vehicle crash on NB I-57 on South Side, ISP says

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A multi-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer shut down I-57 on Tuesday, Illinois State Police said.



All northbound lanes of I-57 were blocked at 9 a.m. near Halsted Street, ISP said.

By 9:40 a.m. all lanes reopened, ISP said.



ISP said the crash happened at about 7:55 a.m. No injuries were reported in the crash.



It was not immediately known how long the lanes would be closed.
