Body recovered from Lake Michigan at Monroe Harbor, Chicago fire officials say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- An investigation is underway after a body was found in Lake Michigan downtown Chicago on Friday.

The Chicago Fire Department told ABC7 Friday evening a body was pulled from the water near Monroe Harbor.



The person's age, gender and identity have not been released.

ABC7 is working to learn more about what happened.
