Man shot in West Loop, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police said a man was shot in West Loop on Sunday morning.



The shooting happened at about 6:47 a.m. in the 1100-block of West Fulton Street, Chicago police said.

A 20-year-old man was outside when four men approached him, police said.

Police said someone pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the foot.



He was taken to an area hospital and is expected to be OK.

Chicago police said the suspect drove off in a dark gray Dodge Durango eastbound on Fulton Street.

No other injuries were reported.
