CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Griffin Museum of Science and Industry will soon be sporting a new look.
Chicago's Landmarks Commission's Permit Review Committee approved plans for a new welcome hall.
The museum released an artist's rendering of what the hall will look like.
Museum leaders said the project will create a new primary entry for visitors while preserving historic architectural details.
