4 hurt, including Chicago police officers in Humboldt Park crash, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two Chicago police officers were among four injured in a crash in Humboldt Park on Tuesday, according to police.



The crash happened at about 6:10 a.m. in the 3700-block of W. Division Street, police said.

Chopper 7 was over the scene near Hamlin Avenue and Division Street at about 6:30 a.m.

Chopper 7 was over a crash involving a Chicago police squad car in Humboldt Park on Tuesday morning.



CPD said officers were heading northbound on Hamlin with emergency equipment activated when they crashed into the SUV.



The SUV then crashed into a parked car.

CPD said two officers had minor injuries.

The 41-year-old woman driving the SUV and her 62-year-old passenger were taken to Mt. Sinai hospital and are expected to be OK.

CPD said citations are pending.
