CHICAGO (WLS) -- Holiday happy hour got an Italian twist as Clara's Restaurant appeared on morning television to showcase festive cocktails and mocktails.
Ersilia "Sisi" Melchiorre, general manager of the family-owned Woodridge restaurant, demonstrated a coconut-rum espresso martini alongside a family-friendly Italian cream soda mocktail, offering ideas for easy holiday entertaining.
The drinks pair with Clara's weekday happy hour menu, available Tuesday through Friday from 3 to 5:30 p.m., featuring Italian small bites like arancini, mini panzerotti and cannoli. The longtime Chicagoland favorite is also offering holiday catering and a limited-time gift card promotion through the end of December.
