Prime and Provisions Culinary Director Joseph Rizza joined ABC7 to cook up a steak.
The restaurant reopened this week after a six-month renovation. A fire caused some damage around the holidays last year.
Rizza said he opened the restaurant a decade ago. He said the silver-lining to the fire was the remodel that followed.
He said the most important thing to cook a steak is tempering the meat. He recommends leaving the meat to sit out at least 30 minutes before cooking it.
Rizza said he seasons after the meat reaches room temperature.
Their happy hour menu features $1.50 oysters and half-off bar bites.
