DeNucci's Italian found a third home in Chicago's western suburbs.
The menu is simple: meatballs and spaghetti, bruschetta and pizza.
Chef Salvatore Lo Cascio joined ABC7 to share their Sicilian Artichoke Vesuvio recipe.

Ingredients:
-Artichokes
-Rice flour
-Vesuvio Sauce
-Peas
-Parsley
-Pecorino Romano
Instructions:
1. In medium mixing bowl, toss artichoke halves with rice flour and fry in a fryer at 350 degrees until golden-brown and crispy; toss with salt and pepper, taste, adjust if necessary.
2. In hot sauté pan, add Vesuvio sauce and butter and build a nappe pan sauce; taste sauce, adjust if necessary, add peas and parsley to finish.
3. Plate with height on medium oval plate, spoon Vesuvio pan sauce over top.
4. Garnish with parsley and grated pecorino
