CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man has died after after a wrong-way crash on Wednesday on the Kennedy Expressway, according to Illinois State Police.
The crash happened around 4:31 a.m. near Cumberland Avenue, ISP said.
A wrong-way driver was heading eastbound on the westbound lanes of I-90 when the crash happened.
Two cars were involved, and police said two people were injured, one of which died at the scene.
The victim was identified as Quinn Anthony Fraboni, 27, from Vernon Hills.
All traffic was being diverted to Canfield Avenue. All lanes were reopened at 10:24 a.m.
It's unclear if the crash was weather related. Illinois State Police said it was raining at the time of the crash.
ABC7 meteorologist Tracy Butler said light rain will continue through the morning commute, and some isolated storms are expected in the afternoon.
