The much-anticipated third installment of the hit Disney Channel "Camp Rock" franchise has an official premiere date! "Camp Rock 3" premieres Aug. 13 on Disney Channel and the next day on Disney Plus.
Along with the premiere date, Disney also revealed a brand-new teaser and a first look at the performance of the new single "One Beat Away."
The new film is a sequel to "Camp Rock" (2008) and "Camp Rock 2" (2010). It follows the members of Connect 3, Shane Gray (Joe Jonas), Nate Gray (Nick Jonas) and Jason Gray (Kevin Jonas), who return to camp after losing the opening act for their reunion tour in hopes of finding the next big thing. Among the new generation of rockers, tensions rise and friendships are tested as they vie for a chance at opening for Connect 3.
Liamani Segura (Sage), Malachi Barton (Fletch), Lumi Pollack (Rosie), Sherry Cola (Lark), Hudson Stone (Desi), Casey Trotter (Cliff), Brooklynn Pitts (Callie) and Ava Jean (Madison) join the cast. In addition to the return of the Jonas Brothers, Maria Canals-Barrera also returns as Connie.
In the trailer, Connect 3 explains "We have a big year ahead. 30 cities. Sold out tour. The only thing missing? Someone to open for us. We figured we can find our opening act right here, right now!"
That's not where the nostalgia stops. We also see Sage, who is determined "to be Connect 3's opening act," dust off Mitchie's (Demi Lovato's character) old song book.
Although she thinks nothing will distract her, we see chemistry between Sage and Fletch brewing. "I'm in it to win it," she tells him. "So am I," he responds.
Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas, Kevin Jonas and Demi Lovato serve as executive producers, along with Tim Federle ("High School Musical: The Musical: The Series"), Betsy Sullenger, Spencer Berman and Gary Marsh. Veronica Rodriguez ("The Slumber Party") directs, and it's written by Eydie Faye ("The Slumber Party"). Jamal Sims choreographs.
If you like what you heard in the trailer, "One Beat Away," performed by Segura and the cast, is available to stream now. The soundtrack will be available for pre-order on vinyl July 13, and the digital version will be available Aug. 13.
The cast is also headed across North America for the 2026 "Worlds Collide Concert Tour," featuring talent from "Descendants," "ZOMBIES" and "Camp Rock" franchises, including Malachi Barton, Liamani Segura, Dara Reneé, Mekonnen Knife, Hudson Stone, Swayam Bhatia, Kiara Romero and Alexandro Byrd. Tickets are on sale here. The tour will also continue through 2027 in Europe.
