Employee dies after car falls on him at Skokie dealership, police say

SKOKIE, Ill. (WLS) -- A north suburban dealership employee is dead after a car fell on him on Thursday night, police said.

Skokie police said officers and fire personnel responded to Midwest Autohaus at 5050 Dempster Street around 9:15 p.m.



There, first responders found an unresponsive 33-year-old man. He was pronounced dead on the scene, and his name was not immediately released.

Authorities are awaiting results from the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office as they investigate the circumstances of the man's death.



Police said there is no indication of foul play. Authorities did not immediately provide further information.
