PLAINFIELD, Ill. (WLS) -- A teen boy missing since Monday has been found safe.
The Plainfield Police Department said the 16-year-old was reported missing on Monday around 2:30 p.m.
The boy had not been heard from since he left his home in the 14800-block of Penn Road on Monday, police said. His phone was turned off.
Officials said Thursday he was found, and returned home.
