Fallen Illinois troops remembered at 72-hour vigil in Cary

CARY, Ill. (WLS) -- A vigil for fallen troops from Illinois is being held this holiday weekend at Lake Julian in Cary.

Each hour for 72 hours, the names of the fallen will be read and a bell rung for each name.

It's put on by the Veterans Network Committee and members will trade shifts until it ends Monday night.
