CHICAGO (WLS) -- A female body was found floating Saturday afternoon in Lake Michigan near Navy Pier, officials said.
The body was spotted at about 4:20 p.m. about a half mile from the end of the pier.

Authorities were at the scene on the south end of Navy Pier near the lighthouse.
The body's age was not immediately known. The body was sent to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
