Gospel Music Festival / Grant Park


The 2026 Chicago Gospel Music Festival returns to Millennium Park for a free two-day celebration of gospel music honoring Chicago's legacy as the birthplace of Gospel Music. The event brings together nationally recognized performers and emerging Chicago talent for a weekend of faith, inspiration and community, at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion and North Promenade.

Andersonville Summer Sidewalk Sale / 4800 N Clark


The Andersonville annual Summer Sidewalk Sale returns transforming the one-mile business district into a three-day neighborhood shopping event. More than 40 businesses along North Clark Street and nearby side streets will bring merchandise outdoors, offering deals on fashion, home goods, antiques, gifts and unique local finds. Plus there will be live music and entertainment from independent artists add to the festive atmosphere.

GhanaFest / Washington Park


The 37th Annual GhanaFest is back at Washington Park after a one-year hiatus, celebrating Ghanaian culture, heritage and community- The all-day festival is expected to draw thousands of attendees for authentic food, music, dance, fashion, arts, cultural exhibits and family-friendly activities. This year's event follows the historic inaugural Ghana Flag-Raising Ceremony at Daley Plaza on July 1, which officially launched the festival season and marked the first ceremonial raising of Ghana's flag in downtown Chicago.
