CHICAGO (WLS) -- A former immigration judge in Chicago is now suing the Trump administration.
The U.S. Department of Justice fired Carla Espinoza last year. She spoke to the ABC7 I-Team, claiming she was fired without cause.
ABC7 learned Wednesday Espinoza is now suing the federal government, saying she was fired based on her previous work as an immigration lawyer, in addition to her race and sex.
Espinoza is one of several judges expected to file lawsuits over their terminations.
