CHICAGO (WLS) -- Father Michael Pfleger used his Sunday sermon at St. Sabina Church in Chicago to address the death of Michael Brown from a faith response.
The congregation assumed a "hands-up, don't shoot" position as moment of silence for Brown, 18-year-old who was shot and killed by a Ferguson, Missouri, police officer on Aug. 9.
Father Pfleger says there are peaceful ways to resolve conflicts.
Sunday's service wraps up a weekend of events at St. Sabina, which included a gun buyback program to get weapons off the streets of Chicago.
