CHICAGO (WLS) -- Google and the city of Chicago hosted the first- ever Geek Street Festival, drawing hundreds of youth in Daley Plaza on Wednesday.
The festival aims to encourage youth interest in the areas of science ,technology, art and math.

Careers in computer science are growing at twice the rate of other fields.
The city's big museums and universities were among those who participated.
