From Broadway to Port Charles! The "General Hospital," "Aladdin on Broadway" crossover continues as Michael James Scott heads to the fictional New York town where "GH" takes place.

The storyline began when Emma and Gio (played by Braedyn Bruner and Giovanni Mazza) went to New York to see Scott perform as the Genie in "Aladdin on Broadway." Gio and Emma invited Scott to come to Port Charles and maybe perform at the Savoy, the Port Charles club owned by Curtis Ashford that regularly hosts musicians.

On Monday's episode, Scott arrives and is ready to sing at the Savoy.

Bruner and Mazza spoke with On The Red Carpet about the entire experience, beginning with getting to film on location in the Big Apple.

"We don't really go on location all that often, so when we got the phone call that we were going to New York, that was really exciting to hear and such an honor that we got chosen to do that and do this storyline," Bruner said.

The New York scenes were filmed just after a wild blizzard, but that didn't stop the duo from exploring the city.

"We were able to see all the snow. And then we went to MoMA and saw all this great art, and we saw the Van Gogh and stuff," Mazza added. "We ate a bunch of bagels and stuff and we both saw our childhood friends. So we just had a blast, in addition to filming in New York and seeing Aladdin and going to dinners."

Sharing scenes with Scott was also a dream come true.

"That guy has the most energy I've ever seen out of anybody," Mazza said. "It was nuts to see him on Broadway and then when he came to 'GH,' he did a fantastic performance. He did a new, cool rendition of 'Friend Like Me,' and I think fans are really gonna enjoy it because it's really cool to see a performance like that on 'GH.'"

"We filmed at Curtis' club, the Savoy, and he really does have so much energy and he's such a kind person as well. I feel like we learned so much from him. Like he loved to just sit and talk to us when we weren't filming and give us advice and like, confidence," said Bruner.

The trip to New York brought Emma and Gio even closer and the stars say you'll see more of that.

"I think we're just growing in love. Like I feel we are constantly taking the next step and leveling up in our relationship," Bruner said.

Bruner also teased some scenes ahead with her grandmother Anna, played by Finola Hughes. As fans know, Anna is currently in a mental facility in France after suffering a "mental breakdown." This was after she'd been held captive at Wyndemere, while Sidwell and Cullum set it up so she heard Faison's voice, making her believe he was still alive.

"What was unknown will become known," Mazza hinted.

Sounds like there's a lot to look forward to on "General Hospital," beginning with Michael James Scott's performance Monday May 4 on ABC.
