They say a Glencoe lights display fell on them and their children.
The plaintiffs claim the Lightscape incident on Dec. 20 left them with injuries, including broken bones.

The women say the organizers failed to adequately set up the display.
The Chicago Botanic Garden said it does not comment on pending litigation.
"Visitor and employee safety is our first and foremost priority," they said in a statement.
