NEW YORK -- Videos of NYPD encounters with the public often show the officers in an unfavorable light. However, a heartwarming new video is making the rounds of officers doing a good deed. A young fan was left beaming.
In the video, one of the officers hands a boy with Down syndrome an NYPD cap. With the cap firmly on, the child then salutes the officers before walking away.
The video was recorded by a tourist from Brazil.
